With the development of wireless communication technologies, in particular LTE and 5G networks, it is necessary to utilize the spectrum efficiently and to improve system performance. Multi-Input Multi-Output (MIMO) antenna systems are becoming a key solution, providing higher channel capacity, diversity gain and interference mitigation. In this study, we design, simulate and optimize MIMO antenna arrays to enhance the network efficiency of such wireless environments. The research models MIMO systems under realistic conditions, using MATLAB Communications and Phased Array System Toolboxes, including multipath fading, shadowing and user mobility. Diversity gain, channel capacity and beamforming efficiency are measured for different antenna configurations. Unlike conventional studies, the work combines real-time environmental variation and proposes novel beamforming strategies to increase spectral efficiency and mitigate interference. The results support the development of robust, high-capacity communication systems for LTE and 5G networks and help these networks maintain connectivity in difficult environments. We also provide insights into adaptive beamforming and energy-efficient MIMO architectures for the future. The findings provide a key to next-generation wireless communication systems capable of delivering high-speed, reliable and interference-tolerant data transmission to meet the growing demands of the industry.
